WTF?? What do elections have to do with that?

Anyway, the process has just started and lots of stuff that undergoes such a process does not get a total ban. In my humble opinion it was totally uncalled for to make a news post out of this though inciting against the German system once again. It already pissed me off when Herr Morbid overreacted like that while actually being the one to be blamed (at least he turned out to be quite a sensible guy after all) and it pisses me off once again. German history has called for certain things to be kept away from the public, glorification of racism and violence among others. Most of that stuff (not the racist stuff though) is still allowed to be sold to people above the age of 18, it's just to keep it away from minors.

@Prom dunno but Im pissed of all stuff has banned in Germany man why? Cannibal Corpse and such thinks , now this ... why there are alowed porno in that case?

This warrants a news post since it shows that censorship concerning music is still rampent even in mdern-day Germany society and especially since Deinonychus music and lyrics have nothing to do whatsoever with fascism, nazism, neo-nazism etc. If they decide to band this album which has lyrics ON warfare and NOT gloryfying it I wonder what will happen when the Hail Of Bullets full-length is released for that one speaks of WWII in historical perspective. Are they gonna ban that too. This news isn't anti-German at all, it is is anti-censorship. Remember that Marco of Deinonychus has nothing against Germany and Germans at all. He collaborated with Bethlehem (who also had problems with the German censors at the time of S.U.I.Z.I.D.)

I keep to my point that this news item is TOTALLY called for.

There is a difference between treat certain subjects and to make the apology or to glorify them.

If the lyrics are just ON warfare, then this won't be banned. There are many bands and artists which depict warfare, some even utilizing Nazi aesthetics (Feindflug anyone?) and none of them got banned. Skyforger had a swastika in their name and had an album about WWI which didn't get them banned, and if I'm not totally mistaken the same applies to Vreid's second album. We'll see whether this will actually be censored or not; judging from the precedence I don't think it will.

And my point was NOT that Marco of Deinonychus has anything against Germans, but that this news post creates an anti-German attitude as not all facts are stated or clear yet, just like it was the case with Forgotten Tomb's battle against the German Legacy zine. IF this gets censored you won't see me defending the German system or anything, but as long as this is not the case I'll disapprove all attempts to shed a bad light on my country - the second response to this news clearly shows that people just LOVE to generalize...

@Prom - Skyforger are not swastika its some ancient folk sign I forgot menaung of it but its conected whit ancient baltic gods

Skyforger was also involved in a minor scandal with one of their former producers, who believed they were affiliated with Neo-nazism. (see Skyforger's Official website) The reason for this was the cover of their album "Thunderforge" (depicts a pagan god striking an anvil, bearing a pendant of a resemblance to depictions of Nazi "ancient Aryans"), as well as the swastika, or sunwheel, incorporated in Skyforger's logo. Some websites have therefore listed Skyforger as a Neo-nazi band. The band denies any such claims and doesn't display any Nazistic tendencies in their lyrics, meaning the scandal was most likely a result of the producer's poor knowledge of ancient Indo-European symbols.
