Adagio - New Singer Revelead

According to Finland's Imperiumi.net, French neo-classical metallers Adagio have tapped Finnish singer Christian Palin to replace the recently departed Gus Monsanto.

Palin is a member of the Swedish/Finnish combo Essence OF Sorrow and Random Eyes. The latter group just landed the Finnish album chart at position No. 18 with its latest effort, "Invisible".

Palin will make his live debut with Adagio at the Castle festival in Smederevo, Serbia on July 3.

This should turn out interesting. Essence of Sorrow's debut album was the best power metal album of 2007 IMHO.

i don´t know this new singer that Adagio tapped. Im certainly anxious to listen new stuff from them. Gus Monsanto was an excellent vocalist. Hope the new one can live up to the expectations of everyone.

I really like Christian's vocals on the Essence of Sorrow songs I've heard. I wasn't much into the guitarwork in that band so I really haven't paid much attention to them, but with him in Adagio, it will be something to look forward to
