I think they had some ready songs which just worked on them and record them... because the gap between entering to studio and finishing the work was not much..
But i believe in what they do, and they've shown their selves in past years with great albums |

Amon Amarth always has solid albums, and they spent well over a year touring for "With Oden On Our Side". It wasn't that fast, they just didn't bother to take a break in between touring and writing. |
