Amon Amarth will be part of the European run of "The Unholy Alliance, Chapter III" along side with Trivium, Mastodon and Slayer.

Johan Hegg: "All of us have been huge fans of Slayer since the mid 80's, and to be able to tour with this legendary thrash band is a dream come true. We are very proud and honored to be a part of this year's Unholy Alliance together with Trivium and Mastodon. What's wrong with Mastodon?
Warman - 06.07.2008 at 18:08
I've seen them all, and considering Trivium's music they're a good live band. But I wouldn't like to see them again. They could have found something much better. Oh, and Sweden please?

Hmm. Not too bad of a line-up at all. One of the beterr lineups ive seen in a damn long time, especially with slayer and amon playing together.

What precisely is "Unholy" about Trivium and Mastodon? I never understood the hype about Mastodon, Trivium is passable but they lack any form of originality.

Does it matter? Obviously Slayer as a headliner is 'unholy', but who cares baout holyness. It's about fucking metal dude. And agree, Mastodon sucks. I've seen Trivium live though, together with Machine Head, Shadows Fall and Arch Enemy, and they kicked ass. I just think they should kick all their newer stuff out of the set and play only Ascendancy and eventually even older stuff. But they rock.

Trivium is about as Unholy as Stryper

and Mastodon only has one good song...n it starts off like this

"DONT TALK WATCH, DONT TALK WATCH, YOU CAME HERE WATCH IT! DON'T LIKE IT WALK OUT!"

Only good song

I know I was just making a bad joke. Anyway, I can't wait to see all the Trivium fans surrounded by the Slayer fans.

Mastodon I've seen, and Amarth I've seen too many times.
As for Trivium...... .

I'm DEFINITELY passing on this tour.
I'll waste 80$ on something more worth my time, effort, and money, thanks.
