World Management would like to announce that after completion of the current tour of Europe (with Grave, Belphegor and Omnium Gatherum), Nile is Heading to South Africa for the first time. This is a very special event and Nile are very excited to go to yet another location and play for their fans. The ongoing World tour in support of their new album "Ithyphallic" has now reached another continent.

The dates are as follows:

Oct. 22 - Cape Town, South Africa - The Claremont Civic Centre
Oct. 24 - Durban City, South Africa - Burn Nightclub
Oct. 25 - Johannesburg, South Africa - Bassline

Sweet, they're going to South Africa! I can't attend any of those three concerts though, since I don't live there and I have school to attend here in the USA.

Maybe they can travel further north and play a show in Egypt and record an awesome DVD from the pyramids and tombs of ancient kings...

Wish more bands would come here Hopefully Nile and Carcass are the start of what could be a blossoming of the SA metal scene. The bands here are so lame, 95% I dont care to see..would love to have more of them coming here like Hypocrisy, Insomnium, Wintersun etc...
