Dimmu Borgir - Touring Line Up For Upcoming N. American Tour

Due to a recent addition to his family, Dimmu Borgir guitarist Galder will not be able to join the upcoming North American trek on Danzig's "Blackest Of The Black Tour.

States Dimmu Borgir guitarist Silenoz: "We have some new, temporary personnel on this tour. We needed an experienced live guitarist and found him in an old friend of mine and Galder: Cyrus of Susperia. We're happy he can step in and don't plan on giving him a hard time on the road."

Drumming duties on the "Blackest Of The Black Tour" will be handled by Daray (ex-Vader). According to Silenoz, "fans can perhaps expect a few surprises when it comes to the set list."

I think Hellhammer left for good.

I think it must've been my comment on their "ask anything" blog, which was "What band will you consume next" (Arcturus and Old Man's Child). I hopehe doesn't become a scientologist or anything like that.

LOOLZ hellhammer a scientologist. i'm moving to a remote tropical island if hellhammer becomes a scientologist.

and hopefully this new lineup will help shake some of the nagging mediocrity of dimmu's performances as of late.

I don't know if taking out Hellhammer will change things much. He's actually a great drummer (who was unfortunately held back by Dimmu IMO). What I remember most from last Dimmu show I saw was "Shaggers".

On a side note. If hellhammer DID become a scientologist, it would be difficult for me to rick roll him.

What? What? What's this abot Hellhammer and scientology? I need to know. That would suck if he would become a scientologist.

no i know hes an awesome drummer. ive just heard awful reviews of their performaces as of late. and i agree that he was held back by what the "creative" powers in dimmu, be it shagrath or whoever.

if hellhammer became i scientologist, i would probably have an aneurysm.

Hm, I wouldnt mind seeing Danzig, but Dimmu Borgir already played sub-par shows both times I saw them. Skeletonwitch would be sweet though.

Maybe, now that Hellhammer is gone, Arcturus will reform!

That would be amazing if Arcturus reformed! I do not understand why Hellhammer and Vortex waste their time on Dimmu, when they could be working on the brilliant Arcturus!
