Slayer spent some weeks in the recording studio in late September/early October to record three new songs for their new album which will be released spring/summer 2009. One of the songs is called "Psychopathy Red," a Jeff Hanneman track which gives you a look into the mind of Russian serial killer Andrei Chikatilo. A non-CD-quality version of "Psychopathy Red" has surfaced on YouTube and can be streamed here.

Fans who attend any of the upcoming European "Unholy Alliance Tour, Chapter III" dates, will receive the new Slayer song via an exclusive download card that will also include special material from the entire tour's line-up - Slayer, Mastodon, Trivium and Amon Amarth. The download card, along with a limited edition "Unholy Alliance Tour" clothing patch, will be given away free only to ticket holders when they arrive at their local venue the night of the show.

-DC-002- - 30.10.2008 at 13:38
Sounds promising.. I can hear a real change in their style. I think they may have tuned differently too. The album, It'll be good
Talvi - 30.10.2008 at 14:16
If they remove the shitty parts in "Christ Illusion" they may make a very good thrash album. This song doesn't sound bad, so I'm interested in whatever they release.
Marfere - 30.10.2008 at 15:24
If the other songs will have the quality of this one, it could be their second Reign In Blood!
Woutjinho - 30.10.2008 at 15:29
Second reign in blood. oh stop please hahahahahahahaha
its quite good, sounds beter than most of CI. but when I heard Cult, the album sounded promising but it wasnt that great
krabathor - 30.10.2008 at 16:30
Fuck it is awesome much better than Christ Illusion it sounds kind of a song from Devine intervention ...hails slayer am waiting you for the unholy alliance chapter III
nargoth - 30.10.2008 at 16:36
Christ illusion was by far the best slayer album in ten years, this in my own opinion,i´m expecting a very similiar album from them, wait and see or better listen ....lol

FUCKEN SLAAAAAAYYYYYYYEEEEEEEER!

thats a crazy-ass song man.
Paradox0 - 30.10.2008 at 17:15
Kind of sounds like War Ensemble, which sounds like a lot of Slayer songs, except with a bass solo? Well atleast their going out like slayer should, and not being "old" and "introspective" of their life lol.

Makes me wonder what the last track of the album will be like (it better go out in a bang)
IronWinter - 30.10.2008 at 17:37
Damn good song that
THRASHTILDEATH - 30.10.2008 at 17:42
That song kick ass
SLAYER 4 LIFE
Passenger - 30.10.2008 at 20:07
It's ok, but most of the songs in Christ Illusion were better. I'm expecting this one to be one the weakest.
neshter - 30.10.2008 at 21:28

I am not of course really serious but there are some little things that make me write this down.

First, reign in blood: oh man i felt that crazy speed and aggression in this song.

and Undisputed: if you listen the "Tom Araya part" and the reintro of bass drum in 1:05 to 1:10, you will definitely see that the song "memories of tomorrow" has similarities with that part.

Good song
slayer rulezzzz
Lady Bathory - 31.10.2008 at 06:12
Good, we need some better thrash now.
Timelord - 31.10.2008 at 12:04
I love this song. It has the old punk vibe that Jeff is so well at. Sounds better than anything from Christ Illusion. I personally thought that album sounded generic.
METAL! - 31.10.2008 at 19:51
Sounds just as generic as Christ Illusion to me. Slayer uses the same riff in every song.

FUCKING SLAYER!
-Morbid- - 01.11.2008 at 00:55
Musically it sounds good, although I never liked Araya's higher speed yelling, I preferred his style from South/Seasons.
Dangerboner - 01.11.2008 at 01:27
Short and fast, just how I like it
SlaytallicA - 02.11.2008 at 00:10
Great song!
Deadmeat - 02.11.2008 at 15:46
Nice song! Hope nxt album will be better than last one!!!
Butters49 - 16.11.2008 at 23:28
Sounds good!

Like a mix of old and new slayer.

I personally like their new stuff alot more though.
Still, its not bad.:beer2:
Dumper - 05.01.2009 at 01:30
Getting back to their old style ...

Though I think they need more "flesh" here :S
It just cannot be compared with the songs from 86-91

And yea, I know that this is 2009 Slayer, but still - A bit weak.
They can do better.
littlecheeze - 05.01.2009 at 09:41
I love it
