Enslaved - N. American Tour Cancelled
As mentioned in the Nuclear Blast Records newsletter, Enslaved issued the following statement:
"It is with great regret that Enslaved have to announce the cancellation of the North American "Vertebrae"' tour [with Swallow The Sun and Keep Of Kalessin] scheduled for May 2009. At the heart of the issue lies a tour that was hard to get together in the first place so we've decided to let the whole tour be cancelled and start working on setting up a new North American tour all the way from scratch again... Our sincere apologies to all the fans that were ready to come out to these shows; but rest assured ? we are working day and night on setting up the new tour that will replace these dates."

Oh man,,, and I had already bought a ticket for one of the gigs of the tour. I was looking forward to it... bleh.. this is not the first time I try to see Enslaved and it just does not work out

Enslaved is awesome live! It would be cool to see them again. I saw them play with Dark Funeral but they weren't as good as Enslaved. I still need to get the new album.

Let's please remove these tour dates from our schedule, as they are also currently touring North America with Opeth in what is their apparently re-worked tour. the dates roughly coincided and i, who have tix to their gig with Opeth in Tucson later this month freaked the fuck out when i saw on the left hand side of MS upon logging in that their North American tour was canceled... took me a good five minutes to realize it was referring to old dates and not the current tour.
