| Hah, I haven't even heard the previous one yet and they're already following that up. Somehow this feels like they're rushing with new material because I discovered the band just after they released No World Order in 2001, then they didn't release anything for a long while and now this is the third new album in what has felt like a really short time. I mean I've been listening to Majestic so seldom that it feels like it came out last year. |

Oh, their style is great, but they should come up with original riffs instead of rehashing old riffs and ripping off Maiden and Priest. |

I don't think so, Megadeth doens't seems to have something amazing
IMO the last great year for metal was 2005 |

Not exactly. In a November interview Tobias Sammet already revealed his plans for a new Avantasia album. That message yesterday was just the official confirmation I guess. Look for "New interview with Tobias!", posted on November 24th 2008, here (fifth question). |

I think it was in an interview with Tobi after The Scarecrow came out. He said that he'd be releasing the newest Edguy album (Tinnitus) and then release the Scarecrow continuation by 2009 end. I'm sure that there'll be another delay though, probably early 2010 but you never know. |
