LISTENABLE RECORDS NEWS

THE LEGION NEWS

Dragu of THE LEGION / MARDUK has updated us :
The LEGION (Swe) is completing the follow-up to last years debut 'Unseen to Creation ' for France's Listenable Records. 6-7 tracks are written so far and the new material is said to be more intelligent and inventive. Here's a heads up from drummer Dragu, speaking on behalf of the LEGION camp. We' ve really put some thinking behind these new songs and it' ll be interesting to hear what the people has to say about them. It's not really black metal (compared to my other band, Marduk), and it's not death metal; it's hard to put one's finger on what to call it. Well, it's brutal as fuck anyway and I don't think it will disappoint any of our fans.
Be sure to check out the bands web hole at www.legion.nu, where you can listen to a track from the debut album.'

MORS PRINCIPIUM EST NEW ALBUM NEWS !

MORS PRINCIPIUM EST 's new album tentatively entitled 'THE UNBORN' will be recorded in Tico-Tico studio in Finland during the 4 weeks of November 2004. Mastering will take place at Finnvox studios in December 2004 .
The cover-art for the album will be done by Mattias Norèn (www.progart.com).

The band gave us a little insight about the new material on this new album : "In comparison to "Inhumanity" the new album will take a step towards heavier and somewhat darker atmosphere still containing the overall melodic grasp of music presented. The album is full of diversity and the songs have a slightly more modern approach as in form of sampling and the use of computer programming among Mikkos traditional drumwork. As for the rhythm and soloparts twin-guitars will have the main role and the keyboard continues to colour the backround without being introduced as a soloinstrument on this album either.
Villes growling has developed since inhumanity and some serious voice control will be heard, also some clean vocals are used but the weight is kept on Villes throat.

Overall, the album shall be an overall solid example of the fact that the "melodic death metal" as a scene is still pretty far from it's possible expiration date"

MORS PRINCIPIUM EST : 'The Unborn' is scheduled for a Spring 2005 release.
