Swedish metallers Hypocrisy have set "A Taste Of Extreme Divinity" [cover art] as the title of their forthcoming album, due on October 23 in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records.

Peter Tägtgren commented: "Hey, it's about time for an update now. We have a title for the new album now: "A Taste Of Extreme Divinity"! I'm at the end of the recording and mixing, a few songs left to sing on. The rest are done mixing-wise... It's just been too busy with touring and recording bands, and I didn't wanna burn myself out totally. We're happy of the result so far, it got everything a Hypocrisy album should have in our own point of view. We will release it on October 23 and start touring in the US on November 5, supporting Ensiferum, then in January 2010 we'll do a headline tour in Europe, after that we'll try to hit rest of the world. Stay tuned for more updates in a few weeks!"

Hamird - 14.07.2009 at 17:54
This is great.. And the best part is he says it contains everything a Hypocrisy album should have, though the album title is not like previous albums but still I'm optimistic about it..

Insane! Was listening to The Arival and Virus in the car today and im like "shit man...been 4 years since a Hypocrisy album" and then i read the good news! Cant wait, will be epic! Album art is kinda old-school tho
Uirapuru - 14.07.2009 at 19:20
Great cover.. it sure looks different. I liked that ´´intergalactic war´´ atmosphere of Virus and Catch22, but maybe this apparential change is good.

Fiiiiiiiiiiinaly...what a relief...though it's not a total relief yet for me at least, 'cause Pete's been so obsessed with Pain lately, I'm kinda scared he's started to regard Hypocrisy as a side project... I sure as hell have high hopes, though...and the cover's just br00tal...
