Not again... |
| I agree, it seems to be getting a bit much.. I have a feeling they'll become another Korpiklaani, releasing a new album each month or so. |
| Eluveitie rocks... Just because they can do more albums than others, doesn't mean they suck. Evocation I and II are like one big album, so it's normal that different parts of one big thing come sooner than some other average bands albums. |
| Maybe will people finally realize, there is nothing so special about Eluveitie...imo they are extremely overrated |

"And this brings me to the next thing to mention: Yes, after an acoustic release we're thoroughly up for a massive metal album again! So "Evocation I" kinda became the well known "calm before the storm".
Hell Yeah!! Will it be better than Slania? |

what's wrong with that? Priest released 7 albums and a live album in 7 years(76-82) |

I must disagree. Slania, for example is a quite good album, and Inis Mona gives me an eargasm. |

Those were different times... Nearly all big acts were releasing stuff every year or so. |

Nowadays nearly all wanna-be-big acts are releasing stuff every year or so |

| No they are not becoming another Korpiklanni, this was there plan from a year or two ago. Spirit and Slania were released in relative long time frame. Then they decided to do a two part, one year release. Look at Devin Townsend for instance. They are in the process of doing a four part one year release. Sure so far the first albums from each haven't been all that great, but both bands have stated each release will be different from the previous. I for one am looking forward to this. Part 1 though, should have been done differently... |
| As much as I liked part 1, whenever a band claims that their next album will be "darker" and/or "heavier", they seem to replace creativity with those. |
| Well, what about their Evocation II album? I was expecting that one to be next, but whatever. Best of luck to this band. I will be anticipating this release. |
| I thought that this news were about Evocation II? |

It is...no official release date yet though. But it will be out this year, as part of a two part 'concept' so to speak. |
| Im beginning to hate these concept albums.... just write good material without filler crap. Not all fans have time to listen to entire albums and take in a whole story. There was a time i digged concept stuff, but now i realise how bad most concept albums are. |

I just feel that the albums are stretched out in quality. Take Korpiklaani, 3 albums in 3 years, all have few decent songs on them.. If they just took a little more time for one album, and make one good album instead of 3 crappy ones. |
