Negură Bunget - New Album Title Announced
Negură Bunget are ready to announce the title of the next album "Vîrstele Pămîntului" (English: The Ages of the Land/Earth).
"Vîrstele Pămîntului" is an album about embracing your destiny, about choosing and consciously assuming a way of life. The earth is where we came from and where go back into, the one from above and beyond us. Understanding and respecting it is understanding yourself, your purpose and destiny. "Vîrstele Pămîntului" is an album about places of the earth and places of the spirit, about bounds transcending worlds.
The work on the album is scheduled to be completed on a seclusion Negură Bunget will take into the wilderness of the mountains in the following weeks, to concentrate soley on the work for this album, which will be a landmark for its future evolution.
There is also a very special packaging for the album in work. More details about this will be revealed soon. You can expect another handmade, natural and organic concept extending from the music through visuals and packaging.

Sol Faur, Hupogrammos and Negru wasn't getting along anymore, so they decided to split up. Negru, however, contradicting that agreement continued work with Negura Bunget. So in a way Negru stole the band. However Sol Faur and Hupogrammos, although pretty angry and disspointed, decided not to press charges. Of course, as always with these cases, there are two sides to that story.

Written by csiga on 10.10.2009 at 16:43 well, this was a mistake by someone here in the MS, the band had never disbanded, they just had what we can call it a big line up change .. and the profile had been updated now .. the disband year is removed

This will be awkward, I'm afraid, since the core force Hupo and Sol Faur left and basically the drummer is exploiting the group name...I do fear this will be a whole different band now that their new material is coming out... it's as good as if Tarja used the name Nightwish for her solo project.... Beseech did this in a fair way...when the main songwriter and the last member of the original lineup left the group they officially disbanded and continued under a different name....
