Kataklysm - Prevail Tour Edition Reissue Details Revealed

Kataklysm have just revealed the cover artwork and bonus material tracklist for the upcoming tour edition re-release of their latest album "Prevail". The album re-release is due on January 8th 2010 via Nuclear Blast.

Maurizio Iacono commented: "We decided to give "Prevail" a little facelift with a new artwork, and we had a cool song we had recorded during the "Prevail" studio sessions called "Cross the line of Redemption" that never got on the album. We also added a version with vocals to our most popular instrumental song "The Last Effort". On the visual end we added some cool songs from some European open air festivals we did and added some videoclips. Just a little something for our fans to hold them over until the next album will come out. This will be a "Touring edition" since we will embark on a euro headliner tour and do some selected shows In Canada next year."

"Prevail" [new cover art] bonus material:

Re-release a 2008-album in the beginning of 2010 ?? Uhm...ok...

edit: well, at least the cover, as I'm seeing it now, is a real revolution in the history of artwork...

So typical of those Nuclear Blast moneywhores.

Every trivial pretext is welcome to try and make people buy the same album 2, 3 or even 4 times. They see fans as walking wallets, fools who will buy anything, no matter how useless it can be.

Nuclear Blast is a disgrace. I hate this label. Fortunately for me, I listen to only two bands that are on this label: Immortal and Wintersun.

Someone wrote this on another forum, to picture how disgustingly capitalist Nuclear Blast is:

"'New EP - Part 1' 'New EP Part 2' + 'New EPs Boxset' will be released first. Then comes 'New EPs+Lost in Space pt1+2'

AND
2 Separate albums and both albums in a boxset + A giant boxset with both albums and The Scarecrow+ an even more gigantic boxset with the new albums+scarecrow+new eps+lost in space eps And everything will be available as standard jewel case, limited digipak and collector's edition and their own Mailorder edition.

Did we forget to mention something here?"

Yeah, that´s crazy...but i wanna hear The Last Effort with vocals....but i think when it´s instrumental it should stay instrumental...especially when it´s most popular instrumental song.
i like new cover anyway

Who'sRichard?

I am interested in a new track, though the rest sounds a little like "contractual obligations." Songs we already own and videos we can already see on Youtube? Probably not the band's decision. CRIPPLED AND BROKEN!!!
