Dutch metallers Heidevolk have issued the following update on their official website:

"The recordings for the new Heidevolk album are done! Dick Kemper is currently mixing and mastering the songs. Heidevolk: "We are very enthusiastic about the sound and songs and we can't wait to present them live to you". Awik Balaian (http://www.awikbalaian.net/) is finishing the album artwork.

The CD is titled Uit Oude Grond ("From Old Soil"). The album features eleven songs telling different stories of myth and legend from Gelderland and beyond. These stories from old soil are captured in raging metal songs aswell as folky tunes.

This will be the tracklist:

Dutch metallers Heidevolk have revealed the cover artwork for the band's forthcoming album, entitled Uit Oude Grond ("From Old Soil").

Also, a new track "Nehalennia", which comes off Uit Oude Grond, is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.
