Original news, posted on 08.12.2009

Meshuggah have announced more details about their upcoming live DVD/CD Alive. The live DVD is set to be released in the beginning of 2010 on the 5th of February in Europe and 9th of February in the US, through Nuclear Blast Records. Hehehe cool alien reference.

Where do you see an alien reference??

Yeah! Combustion live... I'm not a friend of live-albums, but this sounds quite promising.

Because of the line "In space no one can hear you unless you scream"

and the cover is extremely obvious too

I'm a fan of this band, but I don't really buy live material much in general. Interesting cover, by the way.

Horrible tagline, stupidly obvious alien cover ripoff, and bland name.. but whatever. it's the inside that counts

Meshuggah have personally said they hate playing it live. They got tired of playing it year after year after year.
