2. Start a serious relationship with this girl...

I love reading my old posts at MS. I seriously have no idea who this mentioned girl is/was. Obviously that went well.

Anyway, I'm gonna try to stop smoking. So tired of it, such a waste of money. But I'll try after January 4, that's my birthday so... yeah, I'll probably smoke that day.

I halfassed quit smoking in 2013. As of right now I don't smoke at home, only at work. I would still like to quit for good. I also need to start going to the gym regularly (4-5 days a week) again. I'm not in terrible shape, but being in a really nice relationship packed about 5lbs on me and diminished my desire to spend two hours at the gym in the morning.
Also, I want to go back to school. It's going to be very expensive, but I'm getting burned out on bartending and need a more stable means of income. I don't want to be tending bar in my forties.

I'm not terribly sure. I think I will start off by taking some general remedial courses until I acquire enough college credits to enter a more specialized bachelor's degree program.

Wait, I have a real goal, I'll pursue my musical goals as a vocalist in a metal band soon in this year.

I will start my Master studies this year and leave the country (probably temporarily). Wish that all of these happen without problem and I could survive.

Goals for this year? Start working out again and eat a bit more, maybe try to get some discipline and write stuff.

Good for you. Work hard( I mean real WORK HARD).

I don't really believe in quotes(Mr Doc based his opinion on that), do believe in practise and hard work. If you shaped up well and band sounds amazing, good for you and us. Otherwise, put your band in trash.

It's not like I base my opinions on the quote. I still believe some cold head is necessary in order to achieve your goals. But it's also good to always have dreams and stay optimistic that you can do it.

Sooo looking back on what I said last year.... the first 2 were good at the beginning of the year, then I either forgot about them or got too busy with school. I think I achieved the next 2, and as for the last one, I did indeed get my license (but still have to pass another test to be fully licensed in Canada) and I learnt a few basic words and sentences of Tagalog

So with that being said, I think all these goals still apply to this year and I should probably aim to pass that final driving test (but I can't even take it til next winter so maybe I'll wait til the weather is better the following year). I should also try to stop worrying and stressing so much. Assuming the school term went well enough for me to graduate, getting a "real" job should also be a goal. And I should also stop being afraid to knit sweaters....

I started studying HTML and PHP back in December, with no particular goals for the new year. I think it works better this way, to follow something when I'm ready to put my effort into it.

So did anyone achieve last years goals? any new meaningless ones?

I thought that was mostly a French thing.

I'll have a go at quitting smoking again. I'll also be drinking a lot less, working out a lot more and picking up the guitar again.

ah, I joined a thrash metal band on mid-January, I loved their songs, the rehearsals went well, but I've left them after a while, I regret it now.

To-do-list in 2015-

Get a job, explore more of Jammu and Kashmir and Punjabi music, visit PoK, get a girlfriend, cut my contact with south Indian friends(ass paining weasels), visit Manchester to meet my cousin sister and as usual regret over missing ton of awesome gigs in UK(which is now becoming a BAD HABBIT).

As for my 2015 goal, get a job nuff pays,... I still keep the highest goal of immigration, it'll take time, job first some cash, then ambush the immigration target.. So simple.

I would like to work less from now on. My daughter is seven and I want to spent more time with her.
I also want to take more time to study Spanish. Now I go once a week to school for 3 hours but when I get home I don't look in my books 'till the next week. This is my second year and if I want to go further I need to study harder.
I'm going to start rating albums here on MS and I'm only gonna rate new albums for starters.
