In my search for french black metal, I came across Swine Of Satan. The name speaks for itself, but check them out, as their 'Battles In The Farm' is available for download at their site

I put "Battle in the farm" to be download as I was posting here... And now it's done. I liked the songs. I'm going to download the rest. thanks mate.. The additional voices are great. Something like pig noise! ?

Polkadot Cadaver is metal for me, and they're pretty funny...

I've seen a few people say it already but I got to say psychostick. They have some really funny lyrics. I got both of their albums and there's a lot of stuff that will make you laugh your ass off. Bobaflex isn't really comedy metal but some of their songs just have a funny feel to them. You could also check out mindless self indulgence. I don't really think they're metal. I don't really know what they are. But they have a lot of funny lyrics as well.

I would consider Dethklok to be comedy Metal. If you look at the whole purpose behind the show it is to both make fun of and pay homage to Metal. Gosh, if you just look at wall the hidden humor in the show like the grocery store being called "Finntroll's" and the hamburger joint is "Burzum's" or the fact that Steve Smyth, Warrel Dane and Michael Amott are "Snakes 'n' Barrels".

Besides watching the show, the Dethalbum is histerical to listen to. I have a copy if it on vinyl and always puts a smile on my face when I pull it out. So yes, Skwisgaar Skwigelf taller than a tree, Toki Wartooth not a bumblebee, William Murderface Murderface Murderface, Pickles the Drummer doodily doo ding dong doodily doodily doo, Nathan Explosion are comedy Metal.

Alestorm is pretty hilarious. Agoraphobic Nosebleed is too. the second part of their "altered states of america" ep is a long list of songs with the phrase "rectal anarchy" at the end.

I think The Rocking Dildos are very funny. It's a band with Mika Luttinen from Impaled Nazarene and they play a strange kind of metal.
I don't want to give it a name, because it's a weird mix of styles with over the top lyrics.
Impaled Nazarene itself can also be funny. They sometimes use words in other languages in their lyrics and that's very funny to me.
Anthrax can also be hilarious. (I'm the man)

GWAR-Beatallica-Steel Panther- Tenacious D as a rock one.
also there are some comedylike songs from S.O.A.D. and Primus.

PS: I dont think we can call Dethklok a comedy band.

Comedy and Metal often don't go well. Reason? Metalheads have a very poor sense of humor and Metal Apocalypse& Dethklok is the living proof of that. Also the problem is with joke bands, the novelty of it wears of soon. But it still can work out, Devin Townsend's Infinity has a very playful humorous approach. Songs like Bad Devil and Noisy Pink Bubbles always put a smile on my face.

You should really check out The KMX Band. I've seen a lot of comedy metal bands and they're, by far, the best. One of a kind.

Steel Panther are pretty funny just with the ridiculousness of the lyrics, check out Death To All But Metal or Asian Hooker for example They poke fun at glam metal and have some pretty good music too.

Sorry for bumping this after a year of stagnation, but I quickly skimmed through it and noticed that nobody mentioned Austrian Death Machine yet (it's a US band, not an Austrian one). Let me get the shitty part out of the way first: Yes, it's a side project by the singer of As I Lay Dying (which I don't care for), the very same guy who tried to have his wife murdered.

Austrian Death Machine is completely different though. It's Thrash Metal interlaced with spoken tracks featuring various Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonators. So you get metal tracks and comedy tracks on each album. Obviously every song is inspired by some (in)famous Arnie quote, like "Get to the Choppa", "Chill Out, Dickwad" or "You Lack Discipline (There is No Bathroom)".

Also, this may be a very controversial choice for some of you, but isn't Cannibal Corpse funny? I mean, you can't really take any of their songs seriously. Strip away the DM and you're left with this:

There is one band that is very popular in my country,They are "Primitive Chimpanzee" by genre they play crossover metal! what drives them crazy is the stage act.. but their lyrics are also often quite weird and funny to listen to!
