Most depressive metal ballads

well, a topic where you can post which are, in your opinion, the most depressive, tearbringing ballads.
I'll say that "Glory to the brave" by hammerfall, and (though it's not actually a ballad), Ghost love score by Nightwish are really depressive songs.

I don't find that to be depressive at all. I just see Luna as a cheesy song. But maybe that's because it played it Portugal non-stop.


I think I find it depressive is because I was going through a rough divorce when I first heard it, and from then on I kind of relate that song to that particular period of my life.

I can understand that. I just think that the radio play ruined that song for me, I can't listen to it objectively.

The most depressing song i know is clearly "shape of deaspair-...to live for my death..."...the whole thing of being and living is just reduced as a road straight to death, nothing less or more.
