Bought two random Converge shirts yesterday. That makes 3 total. I love the brand of shirts they print, they don't fade, they're slim fitting and long, and the actual print last forever.

I do not have nearly as much as I would like. Current list is: Lamb of God, Machine Head, Children of Bodom, Exhumed, Amon Amarth, Pantera, Cold Blooded (local death metal), Odyssey (local instrumental prog), Ensiferum, Dethklok, Dropkick Murphys, Opeth, Nekrogoblikon, and at the risk of being lynched... Avenged Sevenfold.

Most of them were except Dethklok, Nekrogoblikon, and Ensiferum which I had to order online. The one store in my town that sells metal shirts has like a quarter of their racks dedicated to Pantera, Avenged and the other really big bands with like two shirts each for the less known ones.

I don't get how people can collect so many. As much as I love band shirts, I feel like 10 or so is more than enough.

I probably own close to 20 but wear only about 5 of them regularly... I only buy them if I see one I really like and it's reasonably priced, but I did go through a brief phase of grabbing one at almost every show. I'd sooner spend my money on things I'll actually wear or use and they take up so much space in my closet. For $20-30, I could get a much better quality shirt that will look way nicer than most band shirts.

I like fashion so I wear lots of different clothes, and spend a good chunk of my money on clothes, a lot of them come through thrift and second hand shops.

I've bought a Nirvanna and a Protest the Hero shirt from second hand shops.

I like band t-shirts, but I think hoodies are better. I personally adore my Kreator hoodie.

I agree, but I still buy a shirt, hoodie or longsleeve at every show I go to.
Only if they don't have my size (S) I don't buy clothes, but than I've already bought some cd's or vinyl.
It's all about supporting the band and supporting my closet
Oh, and normally Idon't buy at festivals because I don't want to spend my time in endless queuing in metal markets or at the official merch stand.
I also buy 5-10 shirts a year from bands at their own website to support them.
When I think about it: more than 20 years in metal buying shirts and stuff...I don't know how many shirts I own, I should count them for fun.

For me band merch is almost like cds/vinyl, I like collecting or simply having them around so I'm constantly buying. Think I have around 40-50 tshirts/hoodies/longsleeves altogether, but actually only wear about half of those on regular basis. Some of the "rare" stuff (i.e. Bolt Thrower, Urfaust, BaN,...) I don't even use (even if they look ridiculously good), prefering to keep it as some sort of treasure

I am aware of that most of the forum members are men, but has anybody happened to see or know where I can find a "Windir" top for women or at least a t-shirt (for women)?

Try here - it's the only decent link I could find.

There were no picture of the Windir t-shirt, but I guess it´s the same old white windir logo on it, which would be great

Thanks a bunch Troy! Seems like a great website with pretty ok prices (haven´t checked the shipping costs yet though) and many t-shirts/tops for women.

I own over 30, I think. I dont wear them all anymore, they are a little old and dont want to ruin them.
I think my favorite one is from the last tour Dissection did, when they played in Tijuana nearly 10 years ago.

Like the bongripper one, not necessarily the band itself though. What hoody is that, and what does it say ? I'm looking for a hoodie at the moment for winter

Yeah I wore the Bongripper one to school today

The Hoody is from an post-rock/hardcore band called (get ready...)

The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die

*Gasps for air*

It says that on the hoodie as well. I actually haven't picked this one up yet, so hopefully its a thick print that wont fade.

Just bought this (for a future death metal patch-jacket back patch. Thinking a dark grey denim jacket for this one, if I can find one)

Not sure which design I'll go for though on a jacket. Both look pretty rad.

The back side might look better (front would be like too big and wide with the logo), but I personally dislike cutting-off tshirts to use as backpatches.... they look awkward. I have a patch with the same design on my jacket, but obviously not as big, the design is very cool indeed

Yeah I figured the front might be a bit big, but it's a girly medium so might not. The back might be more appropriate anyway.

If you're careful cutting it into a decent shape (a rectangle preferably) it can look as good as a pre-bought back patch. With a bit of luck. I did the same to my grindcore jacket, which turned out pretty well. At least I think so anyway =P

Yeah, I remember your jackets (the grindcore and the black metal one too). Totally awesome, some of the best I've seen, so if you do a death metal one now I suppose it will just as cool (the Pig Destroyer backpatch looks good, coz it actually fits perfectly in the rectangle ).
