Ok, so normally one should not be able to create a new thread until they got 100 posts. So those people can do it here and introduce their band.

Please be kind enough to provide all the information about your band (name, genre, website, myspace, a bit of history, etc.)

I also invite you to fill an entry in the "Band suggestions", and vote/comment on those you want to see featured

- The Disciples of Zoldon

A black/death metal solo project, recorded in the studio by one person. This started as a satire, only to become more involved and complicated, and with three full length albums and an EP, the Disciples of Zoldon has earned a lot of interest and positive response. All of the music put out for this project is downloadable for free, so visit the following link to get as much of it as you want. The latest album, 'Blackened Theological Tome' is a brutal yet well composed full length album that contains a high content of quality riffage.

Ok, it's not my band, but I have been promoting him...Stein R Sordal.

Sordal is the former bass player of Green Carnation, and recently released his acoustic solo album, "In Fort Knox With A Penny." He recently updated me with news that he is in the process of writing his new album, which looks set to be a little more prog and have more guitars, etc in it.

Under his instruction, I have set up an artist profile on Facebook, which can be found here:

Both he and I admin the page, however messages left to him are answered by him alone.

Hey all, I wanted to mention my band Ultima. We are a 2-man metal band hailing from Long Island New York, where I play drums and my brother composes the music and plays guitar, keys, bass, and does the vocals/lyrics. We self-produce and engineer all of our music at this point, but we hope to eventually get our asses into a professional studio to record a full-length album. Unfortunately, we are in a very shitty area of long island where there is not one other person who can play for us in the band, so it is difficult for us to recruit a full line-up so we can get to gigging. But at this point we can only self-promote ourselves is via teh internets.

Anyways, our aim is to create original music, and hopefully in time we will fully melt all of our influences down into one singular and original identity. We have (and are continuing to create) a darker and deeper progressive metal sound for the most part, and we currently have 4 recorded songs, and 5 more are in the process of being written.

Keep in mind that feedback on our riffs and the music in general is VERY appreciated and all of your opinions are valued!

I'm not in the band but I'm a pretty big fan though. So if you can, check out INCARNIA from Canada. They're a melodic death metal/melodeath band. I think they have potential and they're really good live as well. For now they only have a 4 song demo recorded called "AT THE RIVER'S END" which was also reviewed here on metalstorm. So check them out here and THANKS A LOT! I'm sure it would mean a lot if you gave them your opinion on their music at their myspace as well even if it's negative.

You can also vote here, as they've recently been nominated by Myspace: A Place for Metal (I know it's not the most credible place but it would be an awesome promotion if they won). THANKS A LOT ONCE AGAIN!!!

Thanks for putting up a thread like this man!

My new band is Cadaverine, and we have a new demo on our myspace:

We are just 2 guitars and a set of midi drums, but 2 vocalists have just joined. We update our myspace all the time so keep checking back, and at this early stage ALL opinions are welcome and will be taken into consideration when we have a final mix! We need your critisms to make us as good as we can be, and if you like what your hearing then say that as well! Positive and negative feedback is welcome is all im saying

ADRENICIDE: New Album Out now via Thrashard Records

ADRENICIDE has just released their fifth album, "Natural Born Thrashers"… ADRENICIDE's Neil Armstrong and Nuno Evaristo teamed up with long time friend Blake MacReady (Ex-Dread To Think) at Adrenislut Recording studios in Slough/England. This will be the first Adrenicide recording where both Nuno and Neil have not recorded and performed all instruments as they also enlisted good friend Dave R. Kuchta to lay down some vocal and guitar tracks .Nuno Evaristo (lead guitarist) recently checked in from their studio: "Our first experience in a studio with Blake MacReady helping us is going well. Working with Engineer Phil & Madz has been a really good experience, they're on the same page as we are when it comes to what things should be sounding like. We love this album and it sounds fuckin' killer! It's a savage fuckin' record and we are really happy with it! "there's a few tracks that sound like nothing we've done before, so we hope our fans will like it. "Natural Born Thrashers" is now available via the ADRENICIDE MySpace page: ADRENICIDE have also annauced a best of/Vynil release with the Italian band SHOOCK TROOPERS via DESTROY RECORDS. Soulseek Metal Radio | Online METAL Radio | |

Soulseek Metal Radio

This station was created with the intention to promote various forms of extreme and underground music. Another great reason to start a radio under this name is to let everyone know about the best p2p program out there, Soulseek.
Soulseek has been keeping the underground active since 2002 with its simple way to share any type of file at no cost at all. Since the radio was created by Soulseek users, we thought it was a great idea to go ahead and promote these two things at the same time.
The main idea is to have live DJs at most of the time. This means that things like requests are welcomed, or even engage on live discussions with two or more people at once. Also, some listeners will grow fond of a specific DJ and try to catch their sets based on taste. This is much better than most Online based radio stations with their boring play list which only loops for hours.
This can only make the underground community stronger thus make it grow. Only you can save underground music.

Snow-covered expanses of Siberia together with enchanting voices of the winds and magical attraction of the moon make one feel of estrangement and loneliness, and incredible images of Russian land's past and present appear in their arms: something that have happened, but no one knows about it, what lies beyond and things, we're doing every hour with our own hands. But the fanciful tracery of hopes and desires is alive and draws in air, the heart is burning and trembling at the thought about the single Way, leading to eternity, to come forth. A glance from the bottom of subconsciousness, a glance from your animal essence at future superessence - striking comparison of incongruous. Interaction with mystical power of winter elements and primordial Nature let you penetrate into ancient time and feel the subtle thread of how our forefathers understood the world around them, gave an opportunity to create the supreme beauty, trying to pass on their delight, veneration for Greatness of Russian Land.
All this, interweaving, creates the music of Welicoruss. An attempt to embrace the unembraceable, to be conscious of unconscious, to jump in nowhere. Abstract and, at the same time, clear thought have already appeared in 2002 when the ideological leader and inspirer of the band, Alexei, started creating a musical canvas of the future group out of separate pieces of sound. At that time he never thought, the project could be more than one-man band, but something guided him to create and experiment. This word definitely shows all that was presented on the first demo "Wintermoon Symphony" 2002.
Combination of black metal and pagan transformed smoothly into electronic music, dark ambient and experimental electro. All was muddled but, nevertheless, atmospheric.
Time goes by and it became clear that the conception of Winter Symphony presented in the first demo is not exposed enough, thus, Alexei decided to rewrite the album. The result was the second "Wintermoon Symphony" 2004 demo. The conception was put into better shape, new compositions were added and the sound was changed as well.
Afterwards, one composition was presented on "Siberian xXx-Treme II" compilation.
In the process of creative search and thoughts Alexei tended to the making of full-fledged band that was realized later. The work with musicians began since the end of 2005, when PauLAriC and SAD joined the group. The staff has changed twice over a short period of time, but by the end of 2007 it became stable: Welicoruss - conception, guitar, vocal, Elias - drums, PauLAriC - keyboard, vocal, DarkLight - guitar, Dizharmony - bass.
With this staff the full-format conceptual album "Wintermoon Symphony" was recorded at Megaton Studio, Welicoruss HomeStudio and Elias Homestudio. The compositions have undergone some changes, got new sound. This time, the main idea was fully and finally realized.
The first video of the group "Slavonic Power" was issued in April, 2007.
"Apeiron" is the composition, presented on "Siberian Death Metal" compilation and "Mermaid" can be listened on "Agharta. Young Siberian Rock" compilation.
During 2006-2008 the band has played over 20 gigs in their home city and in the nearby ones. On the 3rd of March the group successfully presented all compositions from "Wintermoon Symphony" album at the first solo-concert. The "Blizzard" video was presented there as well.

In the summer of 2008 band took part in international metal fest MetalHeads' Mission 2008 in Crimes (Ukraine) with Moonspell, Gorgoroth, Cynic and Samael. In july of the same year band gave concert in "Tochka" (Moscow).

In 27th of October Russian major metal label CD-MAXIMUM released the first albom of WELICORUSS called "WinterMoon Symphony" in Russia.
In 15th of December band began to record the second album "Apeiron".

Yes! It's true! After almost two years from their break up, the Greek groove/death/grind band Homoiratus are finally back to kick some serious ass! During the past two years, most of them enrolled in other projects/bands and now that they reunited they are ready to bring the Greek death metal scene onto a higher level.

What's really interesting is the current line up of the band… So we have Mitch on vocals, Angelos on bass, Argy on drums and Kostas on guitars - Homoiratus' first guitarist. However, there's also another member on guitars who recently joined the band, Kostas. During the past two years following the break up of Homoiratus, Angelos, Argy and the band's new member, Kostas, formed God of Rotors and this is how they initially decided to include Kostas in the current line up of Homoiratus.

Line up:
Mitch - vocals ("Human Consumes Human")
Angelos - bass ("Human Consumes Human", "Knowledge…Their Enemy", "Apocalypse")
Argy - drums ("Absence of Progress", "Human Consumes Human", "Knowledge…Their Enemy", "Apocalypse")
Kostas - guitars ("Absence of Progress")
Kostas - guitars (new member, "God of Rotors", "Sklerotikz")

The band is currently trying out some ideas for new tracks and at the same time they are rehearsing older ones. All this indicates that Homoiratus will soon record a new album, which - according to what is stated on their official page on myspace - is most likely to pick up back at "Human Consumes Human" and they will most probably at some point go on tour, both in Greece and abroad. However, the band hasn't made any binding statements regarding the time when all this will happen, but when it does, they will definitely give us what we've been craving for!

A bit of biographical info for those not acquainted with the band.

Homoiratus were formed in July 1998 and released their first demo tape on that very month. After a lot of line up changes, a number of albums and a long lasting hiatus, Homoiratus reached an abrupt end on May 2007.

All of the band's releases were the source of great reviews by magazines and webzines like: Terrorizer, S.O.D, Metal-Rules, Noise Magazine, Live4Metal,, Quintessence, Metal Maniacs,Metal Hammer ( Gr ), Walls Of Fire and many others.

Homoiratus have shared the stage with Napalm Death, Malevolent Creation, Hateplow, Nasum, Obituary, Master, Benediction, Skitsystem, Children Of Bodom, Cannibal Corpse, Impaled Nazarene, Rotting Christ, Hypocrisy, Into The Gore, Nuclear Assault, Nightfall, Inveracity, Less Than Human, Corpus Mortale and many others.

The band has also toured in Europe with Danish Deathsters Konkhra in 2004 and appeared at the "Fuck The Commerce" fest in 2004.

Absence of Progress (1998) - Demo tape
Human Consumes Human (2001) - Arctic Music Group USA
Knowledge…Their Enemy (2002) - Arctic Music Group USA
Apocalypse (2004) - Crimes Against Humanity Records USA
