BUT.. if we expose our problems, and face them rather than hiding from them.. only then we would be able to clean up our city..

aha i get it now, so by posting those photos here on a foreign metal forum will help our cause to clean up and improve our beautiful city.goos point!. and i see everyone got the idea that we have a lot of garbage on the streets,but what else they can do? why dont u MOVE to the next level and pass those photos to people who may be really concern in OUR country and government? that's a real man act who dont want to hide his head in the sand.

because nobody in our country really gives a fuck about this, the only thing people care about is their own welfare, so, in a touristic country like ours, we tend to pretend infront of foreigners that we're the best country ever so that they'd come again, and usually we fail at it and they just hate Egypt more and have an even worse impression .. so, probably the only way to get people to get off their asses and do something is by exposing them and causing troubles to their 'income source' ... also, dont underestimate the power forums have.. one of the MS members could be working in the UN too, or any non-profit international organization who specialize in helping developing countries.. someone might actually donate money for the cause, maybe someone on the forum is an investor (or his parents are) and this would sprk the idea to invest in a cleaning company in Egypt, now that's a good buisness idea n... and at lst but not least, miserable people living miserable lives in shitty countries cheer up with words as simple as "omg, your country deserves better' or 'it's sad you live in such pollution' ... stuff like that kinda helps, makes you feel you're not alone...

so, my question is, why aren't you bothered by the scene of the garbage when u see it in the streets but when you see it in photos on forum you get all upset ?

Have taken some nice shots of a female cricket and a bumble-bee today. Thought that's a good reason to revitalize this thread

Hurtful words . IMO it is simply like US has ghetto, Vietnam has bunch of same things like Cairo. It is garbage, but it is everywhere over the world. I will put some pics of my wherefrom asap. It is same. Though my point it is just a common thing, better expose it, and hope the goverment be embarassed then they will change the situation.

Exactly, I'm pretty minimalitic sometimes. Specially (a bit offtopic here) in terms of furniture. Now, my room has a lot of shit right now but my dream house has always been in the style of what Pat Bateman had in American Psycho, I just love that black&white stuff.

Oh wait, I mean Steampunk is cooler than Goth. Truth be told I ordered a ton of steampunk clothes from an online retailer but they took so frigging long that I cancelled them. Probably for the best really.
