Actually... one of the main problems I see on Black Metal is that the bass most times don't sound at all... that quote was not mone but I certainly agree with the guy you quoted, and I agree that Carpathian Forest is one of the very few Black Metal in which the bass is very well exploited (the other examples I can think of at this moment are Beherit and Barathrum).

Leviathan-Tentacles Of Whorror also has very predominant bass lines i thought.

Actually I find 'Fuck You All!!!!!' a bit of a childish title for an album. Can you imagine that?
The tile is already fairly old, this album should have been released much earlier. There are various reasons for the delay. We have interrupted the recording sessions for a tour, for example. We meant 'Fuck You All!!!!' as the last album that CF will release, and the title is sort of a statement. Of course this is not directed towards our fans, but towards the entire world. It is very possible that we can back to our decision to quite, time will learn. This change so fast withing this band and we have the idea that we are doing better than ever. It could be very true that we will still be the 'pain in the ass' from the Black Metal scene.


So yeah. That is it. They might re-unite, but maybe not. Who knows..

PS. It was a translation, so it is not 100% accurate, but accurate enough in to get the point.

"CARPATHIAN FOREST have announced that they will take a break for the remainder of 2006 (following the Kaltenbach show) and will prepare for a "touring marathon" in early 2007."

Yay! I hope I can see them this time although I doubt Keep of Kalessin will be supporting them like they did on this past tour

I guess it'll be a temporary 'farewell' tour, which could probably be considered an essential for any fans of this band. I hope they hit London again. I shall definitely be catching them!
