When i was talking about "home" i ment bucharest and/or romania. now i'm in bordeaux and, like usual, all interesting bands's Hell prefer paris, which is 600 km away..
i hope i can get to Hellfest this year. it looks interesting so far. already been to 2007's edition but i missed last year Hellfest, cuz i was in bucharest
i know the rule says we must use english but ..... frate m-am saturat de lb straine. cred ca in curand o sa uit cum sa vorbesc romaneste

Hey, I'm looking for a little help from a native speaker of Romanian for some lyrics here on MS  I think it should be very easy for you to help, so here goes: I have a 2 tracks off the band GOD's album "From The Moldavian Ecclesiastic Throne" that are, as far as I know, in Romanian. Unfortunately as some of you may know, some Romanian characters do not show up properly in Windows or in some browers, so there are lots of ? 's in here. But, as far as I can tell, the ? is the equivalent of the letter ă .
Here is one song in question, the first track from the album:
"S? stie c? el au muritu, si c? pre mormântu lui, au arsutrei dzile si
trei nopti o lumin? pre carele no aprinsese nimenea. dar moartea nu io
luatu simtirea si când neamu lui sufere, str?mosu plânge în mormântu
s?u. Plânge c?ci nu poate misca dându la o parte povara grea a marmurii
albe. Dar odat? si oadat? el va învinge prin puterea-i strasnic? a
durerii sale nem?rginite! ...
Întâi-u sabia-i va r?s?ri-s-au din groap?,, floare di otel, vestindu
"R?zboiu cel mare" care va da drepatate neamului românesc. Tineti minte
cuvintele lui Stefan: "c? Moldova n-o fostu a str?mosilor mei, n-o fostu

Many thanks for the translations And sorry about the slow reply, I was pre-occupied with non-MS things the past week or so! And I've added the translations to the lyrics texts as well
no prob, for added effect you could change the first one's lyrics around a bit to sound more like it was written in the 15th century or something, as originally it's written in the style of the old Romanian language, and i have almost no idea of old English.

haha, i think it's quite funny, but then again i'm one of those guys who doesn't see why everyone is so fucking serious about manele all the time (after all, they're only one of the more harmless effects, and not the cause of the deplorable general state of the education in the countryside)
so it seems Artmania is going to take place for a whole week right after Wacken, and Nevermore are confirmed. at only 70 lei i'm kinda considering going there but i need to see some other bands first too. plus, it's incredibly expensive to get there by plane (130 euros one-way? FUCK YOU BLUE AIR!) from Germany and the trains, while extremely convenient, are too slow. i seriously have no idea how a ridiculously high-priced airline like Blue Air hasn't fucking died out already from no seat sales.
