incorrect. This side of the forum is open to discussions beyond just metal. there is no "Thou shalt not discuss metal in the general music forum" rule that I am aware of.

So long as the metal being discussed fits the context of the thread - the 80's - there isn't any problem whatsoever.

Now if you want to discuss Finnish Neo-Glam or whatever you want to call it, that should move to the appropriate location.
