Hi. I would like to know your opinion and express as well my defense and recommendation for their last album, Coda. It is worth listening to it and comes back to their previous spirit and style left since the Graffiti years.
This band has exorted a great influence and has delivered to us a whole lotta great songs.
I will post my vote later.

My vote goes for IV. Songs as Battle of Evermore, Stairway to Heaven and, above all, Four Sticks are some of my very favourites. I also enjoy a lot with II, then I, then III and, despite overall feelings, Coda.

Zeppelin II for me. All the way. When you listen to Zep I, and then to Zep II back to back. It's like a mindfuck! It is insane how much they progressed as a band between the two albums and how much their overall tone and style changed. With Zep I they were a rock band, when II came out, they were a heavy rock band. I just love that album to pieces. Bring it on Home, Whole Lotta Love, The Lemon Song. Amazing.

It's a tie between I and IV. I is great for it's raw, fresh sound, for it's spontaneous songs. IV is the other way around, mature and calculated. I like these albums from end to finish. but the others, including II and III have one or more fillers. usually more than one.

First first, for containing the most ass-kicking songs - in fact the only track I don't totally love on the debut is You Shook Me, cos there's a much better version on BBC Sessions. III, Houses and Graffiti are next quite closely with II in 5th place. I still have yet to hear the ones after Presence but don't expect much from them.

IV was the first album I heard by them at 13. I fell in love with them after that, sure those songs are pretty well known but it doesn't take away from the fact
that the music is amazing. Now I'm in the mood to listen to them hahaha.

I actually really like 'Houses of the holy' for me No Quarter is a favorite. With II being a close second. There are some great songs on II as well.
I don't really see the big attraction to IV. It's a good album but it really dosen't deserve the hype it gets.

I is without a question the best, even though the others have some memorable songs. However, Damnated had a really good point about IV. I still wouldn't consider it the best, but maybe give it second place.
The strange thing is, I would say 'What Is and What Should Never Be' is one of my absolute favorite Zep songs!

I always go back and fourth on this, being one of my favorite bands perhaps I dont have a favorite album by them. Probably between the first 6 albums. But the Presence and In through the out door are great too. Coda is just Coda but it has it moments. I can not pick. Their live stuff is kick ass too.

I agree IV is the best. it might be overrated, but stairway to heaven is their greatest song

From what I've heard, I think i really like II the most. Ramble On is a cool song, love me some LOTR references. This band is great.

Houses of the Holy is my favourite. That's Zeppelin's strongest and most diverse album.
But since I couldn't vote for that one I threw a hissy fit and refused to vote for my second favourite, IV. It was between I and III after that. III had no votes so I went with that one.

I like "Coda" very much, though it will not be my favourite. If you don't, give it a listening and enjoy!
Cheers
