Im of the opinion that Cor Scorpii makes better music in the vein of what Windir used to do. Vreid is good, but i feel their vocals dont really go with the music, at least in my opinion.

Although I think Vreid is alright I vote for Cor Scorpii the weird thing is that most of the Windir guys went on to form Vreid whereas I think only one went on to form Cor Scorpii.

I have heard both bands' albums and seen them live. And weirdly enough I prefer Vreid live over their albums and with Cor Scorpii it is just the other way around.

i agree wtih you. yeah only one guy went to form Cor Scorpii, the keyboarder, and i prefer it because its more in the vein of what Windir did. though i havent seen either of the bands live (unfortunately), i would imagine that Vreid is the better band live mainly because of their sound is waayy less atmospheric and reliant on keyboards than Cor Scorpii, which is harder to pull off live, obviously

Well the "better" band is Cor Scorpii, because they are more similar musically to Windir. So in my opinion, Cor Scorpii has the edge, although Vreid bloody owns.

Cor Scorpii beat Vreid, but not by much at all. It's really quite different music, and they're both very good in completely different ways.

Nothing can be original windir, but I like more Cor Scorpii ok Vreid is online more lomger how CS but i prefere CS more how Vreid, somehow Vreid isnt for me, even music is good, but something missing , but Im not shore if i goonna like CS after 3-5 years

This is a difficult one. Vreid has another style then Windir so I don't judge them on simmilarity.
I like them both...I'll go for Vreid. Close call.

Wow you REALLY should check out Cor Scorpii...I remember you posted in the Windir thread so definitely check them out. Its like Windir reincarnated....for me top 3 albums of 2008

I voted for CS only because I enjoy their music more than vreid, I havn't listened them so much to say which is better.

Cor Scorpii's album is very good, almost as good as Windir's albums. I listened to only one Vreid's album - Krieg - it is good but not as good as CS.

Very true, I agree. Its a tad biased toward Cor Scorpii.
