Well, I'll say right away this isn't really my topic. The guitarist of this band asked me to open up this thread, so I'm doing it for him.

"Epic Viking Metal band, Hammer Horde, featuring Tom Strniolo (ex-FOREVER LOST) on vocals, Jayson Cessna (ex-FOREVER LOST) on drums, Derik Smith (ex-FOREVER LOST) on guitar, Ryan Mininger (A GRUESOME FIND) on guitar, and Ben McGeorge (ex-TERMINATOR) on bass, is pleased to announce the launch of hammerhorde.com, the band's official website, and offers a 3-song preview of the upcoming release "Under the Mighty Oath" on both the band's website and myspace.

Hammer Horde, has recorded their debut release at DIMMWORKS STUDIOS (A GRUESOME FIND, BURN BLUE SKY, FLIGHT OF FLAMES)."

The band expects to have the CD wrapped up and ready to go by early Spring of 2009.

Forget what you hear on myspace....we sent the final mixes to Finnvox Studios and the mastering is being done by Mika Jussila. If you don't know who he is, he pretty much mastered every great Euro metal band in the last 10 years or so. Children of Bodom, Finntroll, Moonsorrow, Khalma, Korpikilani, Ensiferum, Wintersun, Therion, you name it...the list goes on for about 900 albums. Needless to say, the production has jumped up a notch and will soon be on our pages.

Ok folks...one week to go! Hammer Horde's debut release, "Under the Mighty Oath" is set to be released on 3/21/09. To give you an idea, this CD took over 7 months of production and was 100 more hours of studio time than the last A Gruesome Find CD, "Of Blood and Nobility". It's been a long process, but it will finally see the light of day. I invite you all to check out the tracks on the official website, and if you can, come see us live 3/21 and 3/22 (we have tickets)....and 4/25 and 5/23
