Well I have heard a few songs from this band and thought they where kind of intressting. So basicly I just want recommendations of cd's from them. Other than that since I saw no thread about them, here it is.
PS: I aint to fond of the NS imagry but the few songs I heard made me willing to give the music a shot. Cheers

but anyway - i dont mind it, do as you wish, you run this here...i have sources how to get to this "forbidden music", if i want to listen to such a stuff, i dont need MS for that...will use MS to discover cheesy power metal bands and those "alternative sources" for getting into black metal stuff

What band are you talking about? Nokturnal Mortum has quite a few bad albums imo. Especially their early work which are just a harsher Dimmu Borgir.

What band are you talking about? Nokturnal Mortum has quite a few bad albums imo. Especially their early work which are just a harsher Dimmu Borgir.

I agree whit you about it, somehow when I listen it even sound quality is not good for those albums specely old, or its only something wrong whit my sound systhem?

When youb said old stuff I thought you meant Lunar Poetry, Goat Horns or To The Gates Of Blasphemous Fire. Nechrist is a bit weaker than the aforementioned but it's still a good album

I also meant Goat Horns and Lunar Poetry. Never heard To The Gates so can't judge on that.

Well, i think it general it is less "black" and more "pagan folk"...but i cant tell details honestly after just very first listening...
i only know, that the fourth track, "Ukraine", destroyed me completely with its awesomeness! there are some older "live" versions of this song on youtube

Nokturnal Mortum are quite good ukrainian band , though there is some much better , but still they are the pionners of folk black in ukraina , and i saw here some useless discussion about NM that they are NS and so on , but im against it ,they just love there country and express it that way , there isnt no hatred towards other races or countries !! they love there country and they love the slavonic seeds , i dont see no prob on this , back to the recommendation thing , id rather recommend there last album , its kinda unique and simple , also Nechrist album of 1999 is great one

I'm definitely going to check out this release, 2009 has been quite the year for metal. Just a question, since they have their new album coming out and and if it does happen to be good, are we allowed to nominate them for the 2009 Metal Storm awards or not?
I didnt even heard about this album 'till now There is no Update option for this band... they could at least have some News.
