Awesome band from The Netherlands, play a folkloric/black metal, but not extreme, very melodic in truth. They released two full-lenghts ''Dark Medieval Folklore'' (which despite the name is all sung in Dutch), and ''Heksenkringen'', their last one from 2007. Sure it's an original sound, specially ''Heksenkringen'', that has a better production where the folk parts can be well appreciatted. Heksenkringen  Dark Medieval Folklore  This band would be an excellent add to MetalStorm.

Only think why I like this band is becaus ethey sings in duitch, there only one more band waht I know in duitch its doomy band its Akelei, so i like this one , if therer be more more band sin duitch I dunno what I woul think about this

Written by Bad English on 20.05.2009 at 10:53 What's so great about Dutch? Anyway, if I have some time I'll check them. Folk/black is something I enjoy a lot, plus, to be true - the name "Grimm" just reminded me about the Brothers Grimm, so that sounds interesting.

Written by Bad English on 20.05.2009 at 19:39 Yeah. The variation in the language makes the band and the music more attractive in some way. The fact that the songs are sung in Dutch (among other characteristics) specifies an unique feature, and variety is what makes metal so rich.
