Well... If it counts, I had been taking up the Russian Langauge and have been enjoying some Russian folk/pagan bands like Butterfly Temple and Arkona.

Now if I had some Arabic language bands for a class next semester I'd be in business.

Does anyone know any Swedish speaking metal bands other than Fintroll?

Form Colombia: Kraken, Gaias Pendulm (well they have song in english too) also Occultus, Ethereal... Massacre, Neurosis INC, Tenebrarum... I can't remeber all...
From other countries that sing in spanish: Rata Blanca, Avalanch, Mägo de Oz...

In estonian Metsatöll, Loits, Tharaphita(mainly), Herald and many more.

From Mexico (and in Spanish), only Elfonía, Anabantha or Fractalia come to my mind...

Moonsorrow. ALL their albums are in Swedish, as far as I'm aware. Seriously, they'd go and live in the woods if it weren't for the fact that they couldn't play or tour-they're so Swedish ^_^

Ah well, that'll teach me to check band info before I post. The last time I did something like that, I thought Edguy were American XD...at least I got the right landmass this time!

pretty much every band speaks english but there is a nu metal band called ill nino that speaks a little bit of spanish that i can understand

I know only bm bands: Aaskereia, Krater, Mjölnir, Zwenz, Grabnebelfürsten, Nox Pestes, Nebelmacht, Nargaroth (has some albums in German).

In addition to the previous posters suggestions, other bands with some of their lyrics in swedish are Thyrfing (their latest album is all in swedish) and Blodsrit. Therion also has a couple of songs in swedish.

In latvian:
Metal: Skyforgewr, probobly some of you know them
Hard Rock:
Livi - Oldest hard rock band in country, former somewhere in 80ties
Opus Pro - Ehh Guns n Roses coppy in music and lock
Rebel - Blues Rock whit femail voice, but moustly songs are in english too

There are more bands but you know wont mention any band who are posers and play nu metal

In romanian: Negura Bunget, Magica, almost every band from here, some Agathodaimon; in hungarian: a bunch of heavy metal bands, the new ones sing in english.

Arckanum songs are in norwiegian, not in swedish.
