I am also missing this band here, at least as forum topic...not miss it with Silenius' project...this Mirkwood is duo based in USA, California...so far they only produced 2 demos and 1 split (with Cynestole), but every single song by them i like...they are the band most similar (though still quite different) to Summoning, including lyrical themes from Tolkien's world

I dont know what I searched but some days ago I found it in MA and I like it now, realy grea band even I wish band has full lenght

I dont understand why they dont go forth to produce some complete album...so far they are only self producing demos or participating in "amateur" metal tributes ("Obscure Synergy Chapter I" for instance...)

This is really good actually! I dont like the vocals as much as summonings but it is still very good for a demo.

For me one of the best atmospheric bm bands...only limited by the fact, that they only created 11 songs so far (3 on first demo, 3 on split with Cynestole, 5 on second demo) so far

even worse is Kinstrife & Blood - wonderful band, similar to Summoning as well, but only 5 songs on one album from 2006 and then nothing
