Marduk - N. American Tour Dates, New Song Online

Following three very special US appearances earlier this month in Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York (effectively breaking their streak of visa issues), Swedish black metal battalion Marduk will return for a full North American headlining tour this November. The band will be joined by Nachtmystium, Mantic Ritual, Merrimack and Black Anvil (on select dates).

Dubbed "US Plague Tour 2009", the trek will kick off on November 20th at the Palladium in Worcester, MA and run through 21 more dates before coming to a close in New York City on December 16th at the Gramercy Theater, where the band recently played to an overwhelming crowd response.

UPDATE

Swedish metallers Marduk have posted online a new song, "Phosphorous Redeemer", on their MySpace page.

"Phosphorous Redeemer" comes off the band's forthcoming album, "Wormwood", which will be released on September 24 in Europe via Regain Records .

So marduk finally did play. wish i went to that one. but alas, if/when i go il see mantic ritual again and they are serious on the stage. good serious
