The Black Dahlia Murder - Headlining Bonecrusher Fest With 3IOB, Necrophobic


The Black Dahlia Murder will be headlining the Bonecrusher Fest 2010 European Tour. An official statement reads as follows:

Having garnered much attention and praise for the popular Never Say Die! Club tour, Avocado Booking has helped bring the best and brightest acts of the hardcore, metal, and punk realms to audiences all over Europe. Now they're flexing their muscles in both extreme, chest-pounding metal with a stellar package tour dubbed: Bonecrusher Fest !

The bill comprises:

The Black Dahlia Murder | 3 Inches Of Blood | Necrophobic | Obscura (rotating slot) | The Faceless (rotating slot) | Carnifex (rotating slot) | Ingested

The Black Dahlia Murder's singer Trevor Strnad has this to say: "We are very excited to be the drunken hosts of the Bonecrusher tour. In cooperation with the wonderful Avocado, we have assembled quite a brutal line up for all tastes of the extreme. We are to be joined in this merciless campaign by our bearded brethren in 3 Inches Of Blood, personal favorites Necrophobic, Carnifex, Obscura, The Faceless and one of the UK's finest, Ingested. You'd be a fool to miss such a killer line up! Come out to the show and leave in an urn... bones crushed!"

Too bad they don't have any dates for the rotating slots. I so hope they have The Faceless or Carnifex with em when they hit Utrecht. Can't wait!

I can sort of agree...but I didn't know BDM were headliner calibre? Especially for a fairly lengthy tour like that. No offence to one of my fav's 3 Inches, but this seems like a tour consisting entirely of opening-slot bands.

Considering BDM's current label, musical style and experience/number of releases (including plethora of videos) it shouldn't be any surprise that they're commercially viable and successful - in the scene, at least
