Legendary stoner/doom/sludge band that reformed and released an album this year, "The Great Cessation," after Middian was filed with that ridiculous lawsuit. They've released five albums so far, with "Elaborations of Carbon" being my personal favorite.

The Illusion of Motion is a really fucking good heavy, droning, stoner doom album. I'm not too fond of the harsh vocals, but the clean singing is great in a way that works with the music, similar to Electric Wizard and Acid King.

Doom #2 is fucking incredible.

I find that the harsh vocals can be good sometimes, but they're often not really to my liking. The Geddy Lee-like vocals are much, much better and lend the music even more of a psychedelic quality.

I think this album is going to be a monster. That track is just awesome. I liked great cessation, but I think this one is going to top that for sure.
Anyone else tripping on this one as much as me?
