The annual Danish Metal Awards were held last night (Saturday, January 16) at Amager Bio in Copenhagen, Denmark. The winners of the Danish Metal Awards 2009 in each category are:

Ha. Look at that When I read the headline I thought I knew what to expect here, but it seems that since neither In Flames nor Volbeat have released albums last year they had no chance than to look at real bands. Not bad. Certainly way better than expected.

A terrible award show. Everything was so incredibly un-professional. The presenters were drunk, and all kinds of delays made it almost cringe worthy. Absolutely horrible. And Artillery should have won that award!!
