since a short while i have found a liking for brutal deathmetal, preferably with very fast drumming,
till now i have heard: Deicide, Kataklysm, Nile, Krisiun, Cryptopsy and Mithras, and i like all of them alot,

what else can you recommend me from this genre?

Well new Devourment is out. Sounds like brutal death metal so all the slamheads will probably be disappointed by the lack of slam that was ever present on their last releases. Or it could just be that the vastly cleaner production is making the slams lose their impact.

You are right, the whole thing does sound smoother and more homogenous. I still found this quite lovely, gotta listen to the whole album though

I have never really separated brutal death metal from normal death metal for some reason, but now that i look at it the difference is right in my fucking face.

I liked devourment when they were more "slammy" in that respect, though i've been that crazy about the music to begin with, there was always a handful of songs that I worshipped from them. though to be fair, im still digesting the new album - its pretty brutal thats for sure.

i think my favorite bdm album this year so far is guttural secrete - nourishing the spoil. i always loved the intro to 'reek of pubescent despoilment' and i was quite satisfied with this one as well.

I think this is probably the best topic to post. well i know that these are not all Brutal Death bands but May seems that it could be one of the best (Brutal) Death metal months of the last years with albums from Dead Congregation, Hour Of Penance, Misery Index and Vader coming out; all these bands have offered us some amazing Death Metal moments!

Monumental Torment - brutal technical death metal from Russia, a freakin' brainblaster! I've never listened to such music before but all those bass/guitar/drum technical fatalities are total ecstasy

Origin - brutal technical death metal goodness just like Monumental Torment, there's not a one day without listening to one of these bands.

If anyone know about some similar brutal tech death band let me know. This stuff is great.

I found Dorgmooth.Melodic and Brutal Death Metal my favorites band from Rusia. Maybe this might be a little different from what you want.
All songs from Dorgmooth are very good.Ah.. You can check it out

I don't know about you, but Blasphtized is in my opinion the best brutal death metal band. Seems like no one has mentioned them yet?

Strong praise! I don't know if they are the best in the genre, but what they have put out is very good. Too bad that they haven't put out a whole lot of material.

What I know they've only 5 or 6 songs, and that they recently have splitted. A pity for such a great band

I have been listening to it. "Blasphtized" but still average for me.
You can check Lykathé (Lykathe Aflame) Imo best brutal death metal band with some progressive metal elements.
