since a short while i have found a liking for brutal deathmetal, preferably with very fast drumming,
till now i have heard: Deicide, Kataklysm, Nile, Krisiun, Cryptopsy and Mithras, and i like all of them alot,

what else can you recommend me from this genre?

Believe it not I forgot about the Unspoken King and I agree it is a good album... not their best but no where near as bad as some people make it out to be.

That's what am sayin to everbody, its not their best but its good i enjoyed it a lot!

Cryptopsy (None So Vile, Blasphemy Made Flesh, Once was not)

The other albums are amazing too

I always loved them when Lord Worm was on vocals. His style is so unique and i have never heard anyone who sounds even remotely like him. So Brutaaal

But his voice was weak on "Once was Not" if you ask me.

I'm just getting into brutal death metal. I haven't listened to a lot of it yet, but so far I really like Devourment and Abysmal Torment. What other good bands sound like them?

I've really been liking Stabwound lately. Human Boundaries and Bloodsoaked Serenades are pretty good, but they have a demo called Malicious Addiction that is fucking cool.

The vocals are pretty close to something from a brutal DM band, but they really aren't brutal death metal because of the instrumentals. But, there have been quite a few bands mentioned on here that aren't brutal death metal.

If anyone can recommend stuff that sounds like Viscera Trail, that would be great. I absolutely love their album.

Embryonic Depravity is a good BDM band but it sucks that they split up a while ago.

Devourment will always be one of my favorites. I remember when I was young working at a tattoo parlor, they came and played there one night. Amazing show. Grew a new love for it all. Sad that Wayne Knupp died.

They are easily one of my favorite live bands. I have seen them many many times throughout the past years and have loved every single show.

Cool, what about Suffocation? did you had the chance to see them live, if so, are they good? better than Dying Fetus? my third choice will be Beheaded, i don't think you saw them live, because they are from Malta.

Suffocation is great live. Its been about 9 years though since I have last seen them,
Beheaded I saw just once, it was at a fest years back. Great show, fucking intense show.

Brilliant live. Again I had to see them during a festival though. Karl Sanders is brilliant at what he does.
