Anyone else ever hear of this band?! I think their genre is kind of on the fence so maybe someone here has heard of them. as far as I know they made 2 albums; Progress and the self titled Ultraspank. So what do you think are they rock or metal? Anyone? http://www.myspace.com/ultraspank5

Man, this band needs more people to know about them. Their debut was a 90s metal classic and the follow up, being Progress, did just that and progressed from their original sound. It's a shame they broke up though, but if you like Ultraspank, check out Lo-Pro. They're a lot more modern rock sounding but they do it very well I think. http://www.myspace.com/lopromusic It has Ultraspank members Pete Murray, Neil Godrey, and Jerry Oliviera all in the band and they all played on Lo-Pro's 2010 release The Beautiful Sounds of Revenge. Their self titled 2003 debut is also worth checking out.
