The last album is not a disgrace but surely they can do better

Death, Come Near Me is beautiful...

The Best Gothic and Doom metal album of all time.

I agree with all of you. Their best album. Favorite song: The Abhorrent Rays. Never get tired of listening to it.

Words can't describe how wonderful this album is. When I first listened to it I instantly fell in love with the sound and atmosphere.

It is, Currently at number 32

An excellent album, and one that has fully introduced me to Draconian's music. The use of female and harsh vocals alongside some very convincing narrative passages really give off an effect of 'Dangerous Beauty', and the solemn guitar work is well executed. Everything here is epic to the max, and not just because of the atmosphere, but also the power of each instrument.

Daylight Misery and The Abhorrent Rays are my favorites!

Never gets old

Love the religious theme

After countless tries, I can find myself liking this too much. The way it delivers just what a listener expects from a release like this got me quite... uneasy. The way that I could, even on my first listen tell exactly what comes next numerous times left a bitter taste in my mouth, like if the record had no value as it did not offer really anything. This goes for the song structures and lyrics. I actually dropped listening during last track at "come near me and stay by my side" because the part was just sooooo corny with the mandatory mellow female vocals and bland lyrics.
Overall, for me, this was a very heavy record, in sense of oppressiveness. It just kept on going and I kept on listening while not enjoying it. Guess hoped for some kind of enlightenment.

Just majestic
it gotten me from the very beginning till the last seconds, such a powerful musical structure and lyric :')

Sort of boring at the beginning, but then it picked up about halfway through for me.

I somehow did not like it seems weird, music good,
lyrics do, mix vocals, but it dont work .
Maybe wrong time and place , wrong autumn, early winter day I listened, but doom supose to work in dark season?

It takes more than depressing lyrics to make an album depressing. The music has to have that depressing atmosphere to leave a feeling of hopelessness, loneliness, and tragedy in life. Arcane Rain Fell has all these elements, but more torturous. Look up the word "Tear-jerker" and the definition would be "Death, Come Near Me"

After the announcement of their new album, I went back to listen to this. It truly is a majestic piece of art. It's one of the first albums I ever bought. The riffs, atmosphere, lyrics and dual vocals are haunting and beautiful at every turn.

For me, their only album that is really excellent.
