anyone like this great bay area thrash band?I have never seen anyone give them Recognition.Forbidden Evil is a classic thrash album it sound so unique.So do yourself a favor and go buy it as well as Twisted into Form.

Never heard of them. Let me guess, are their CDs hard to find too?

No actually they are well known in the bay area,so look for their cds in stores.

One of my favourite Bay Area thrash bands
Twisted Into Form and Forbidden Evil are indeed great and so is singer Russ Anderson. I just love his voice.
The rest of their albums is quite different, more groovy and modern but I still like it, especially the last one, Green.

Just listen to "Through Eyes Of Glass", this song has the ultimate kick-ass thrash riffs.

Fucking great band, like their second album (Twisted Into Form) better than their first one (Forbidden Evil). A bit smililar to Vio-lence if you ask me.

One of the best bands that the Bay Area gave birth too. My only problem with this band is that their first album "Forbiden Evil" although it's a good album is a very generic thrash metal album, that can't be set appart from so many albums from that time. My favorite albums are "Twisted Into Form" (one of the best albums ever with the best vocal parts ever) & "Green" (one of the not gonna hear something like this very soon). I also like "Distortion" very much as this was the first album I heard from them.

Its great Bay Area thrash metal band and thay are amazing.
I had hear firets album, had it on tape, from begining of 90ties and its best album of them, and band are amazing

Kreator are great, they have the more known albums and the underrated, I find the album Coma of souls underrated and Violent Revolution.
I also find liking Violent Revolution better then Enemy of god.

Great band. Soon in Israel [27\5] Cant wait !

I was into these guys before the first album came out when they were still Forbidden Evil. A friend of mine who had moved from the bay area turned me on to some demos and I loved it!! The first 2 albums were really good but I didn't keep up with them after that. I would love to hear some of the later releases.

Agrie firts album are great and i hawe it and its good, I like I think I like them more in demo and earely albums how leither, Im conseravtive and love more old school of beginings
Firtt album, than band calls Forbidden, I think in demo thay call them sels Forbidden Evil, and thay had sone whit same name

Actualy I know only one band who has same name, how album title and song title, its Iron Maiden .D

i absolutely love forbidden! they just got better with every release in my opinion. i love bostaph, but steve jacobs' drumming is fucking godlike!

twisted into form is my alltime favorite trash metal album. fucking great band, but imo nothing can top that masterpiece

i have to go to e-bay, or amazon.com to find their cd's....even our underground metal store ( which has a killer selection ) can't even get them! pathetic. the search goes on...........

if you guys like forbidden, check out another bay area band by the name of MORDRED. they are no longer, but their first 2 albums are masterpeices, fools game is their first, then in this life was their second. you won't be disappointed! happy hunting:thumbup:

I was saying that I own Forbidden Evil on tape, have it in mp3 format too (send me a PM about it if you wish). But after that album, I don't own any of their material, unfortunately.

This band is even more underrated than Overkill!!!
I've heard so much about this band, so many great things... Wish I could get their albums, most are out of print methinks.

Oh, I missed this thread... Forbidden is a superb band, especially the first two releases are 'classics' in the history of metal. I always liked this kind of metal, powerful, varied, screaming guitars, fantastic songs and high pitched powerful vocals. I'm still a fan of this kind of metal or why did you think US power and US thrash metal are my favourite kinds of metal...

I saw these guys on stage as well, at the Dynamo Open Air festival in Eindhoven and it was a hell of a show....

There should be a reunion of this band....

FORBIDDEN EVIL!!!!!!

Such a great band I saw them about a year ago for their reunion shows with Death angel...they were awesome. Russ may not do the same high pitches like 20 years ago but non the less they are still amazing!!!

I LOVE this band! Twisted Into Form is one of my all-time favorite thrash albums! I honestly had no clue Forbidden reunited , but that's great! I would love for them to play in the NYC area, because I never did get to see them live back in the day.

Forbidden are a great band! "Forbidden Evil", and "Twisted Into Form" are complete thrash classics, and Russ Anderson is one of the genre's best singers!

I haven't heard any of their other albums, so I can't comment on them. As for the two new songs, "Adapt Or Die" is awesome. Very like the "Twisted..." era stuff. I remember seeing an interview with Paul Bostaph where he said his one regret was leaving Forbidden...I do think they wasted their potential, maybe it would have been different if Paul had stayed...

Forbidden are one of a big list of underrated thrash bands i was listen them 3 years ago but albums like Twisted into form their classic Forbbiden evil ,Trapped(my favorite song of this album is Disillusions) and album Distortion was get me into seraching more underrated bands from america like Sadus,Vio-lence,Whiplash,Evil Dead ,etc etc btw Forbidden is kickass band
