Sorrows - New Band Featuring Members Of Anaal Nathrakh, Bleeding Through & Combichrist

Anaal Nathrakh's multi-instrumentalist Mick Kenney has teamed up with Brandan Schieppati of Bleeding Through to form Sorrows, a band playing "a mixture of hardcore crustpunk, black metal, electronic beats and super heavy riffage", as Kenney puts it himself. Drum support will come from Trevor Friedrich of Combichrist. The band is currently seeking for a label to release their already recorded debut album. Sound samples can be listened to on the official Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/sorrows

The samples sound fine, but I don't really dig the vocals. Still it's a pretty interesting project definitely going to listen to the whole album as soon as it's available. XD

This should be interesting. I am looking forward to checking this band out. Out of the bands that have members in common with this supergroup, I am most familiar with Anaal Nathrakh.

Yeah, especially the term "musically minded neighbours" irritated me quite a bit. Then I checked Brandan's Myspace and was quite amazed - that metalcore dude's taste definitely took me by surprise: http://www.myspace.com/kbrando
