Can someone recommend some good French Power Metal band that sing in French??

I think Trust has some albums in french and I know some 80ties power bands has something in french but I havt hera about modern days have no idea

Fairyland. I've seen them live they were very great.

Adagio, Alkemyst, Black Rain, Deafening Silence, Dyslesia, Eternal Flight, Falkirk, Invictus, Karelia (symphonic metal), Killers (NB - Not 'THE Killers'), Kragens, Lonewolf, Morpheus, Nightmare, Secret of Dawn, Towersound,.

I accept no resposibility for he quality of any of these bands! Just a list of french power metal bands I found on The Metal Observer. Nightmare got really good reviews for every album though so i'd guess they're pretty good!

Dude you should really look into Adagio, they totally own.

Most of these bands are pretty good. Killers is more a heavy metal band than a power metal one though. Best stuff out of this list is definitely Nightmare (especially their last, Genetic Disorder), Kragens (especially the last one as well, Infight), Adagio and Dyslesia. Eternal Flight's singer is amazing by the way

I HAVE NO IDEA!!! all i know that a tout le monde by megadeth is in french

Fairyland is one of the best symphonic power metal bands ever! otherwise i dont know many French power metal acts...sadly...

More in heavy/speed (old Helloween influence, their started in the eighties) than modern power, you've got ADX for sure. Sung mostly in French, except the Weird Visions album (in English)

There's also Ilungara, most members are French and/or live in France.

Sounds good from the samples on the myspace. I'm going to put it in my list to find the new album, or at least their 2006 disc which seems to be easy to find the US. Thanks for the recommendation

French band??i only know fairyland,heavenly and adagio!!heavenly is legend of power metal in making..no doubt bout that!!!

Manigance

Dagoba is a good French metal band. But they're more industrial.

Manigance is a great band, but when I hear the lyrics, I can't stop laughing. Don't know why, maybe because it's in french.

Fairyland is probably one of the best power metal band of its generation. Heavenly is great too, even if I prefer the older albums.

Hm... maybe I can pick some good music in this thread!

ADX is amazing! One of my favorite bands

French 3 album HM, PM band Demon Eyes from album Garde à vue 1987, they make Metallica cover Seak n Destroy in french, it sounds french to me, good original close riffs, music , but lyrics in french

I think you would love Alcest as well. It is rather post-black metal but I'm in love with them.
