Well, they were old when they made Angel of Retribution, and that album kicks ass, so I still have high hopes for Nostradamus. The only part that makes me nervous is that it's going to be a concept album, and I just fucking hate concept albums, usually.

Rob has said many times that this album is some of the best stuff they have ever done and all the rest of it.. and I believe that maybe it will be.. they're obviously putting a lot of time and effort into it

He also said that before Point Of Entry, Ram It Down, and Turbo, he says that every single time.

yeah but he surely said that before painkiller and screaming for vengeance!

I dont think a single band ever says "this album will be mediocre" before it comes out. Except for maybe Ace Frehley with "(Music From) The Elder"....but thats an entire different story.

And yet (Music From) The Elder is THE most UNDERRATED Kiss album ever. It kick ass and pisses all over Dynasty and anything that came after it.

Maybe something to do with Black Sabbath? They started in 1968, and released the self titled album with 'The Wizard' on it in 1970.....but yeah, Hendrix sounds more likely.

When I first heard word of a tour, I was about to piss my pants out of joy! Then I see its only European countries listed. So its easy, they just dont tour here, probably just because they know it would make me unpleased!

you might mean that would please you

but really, they're touring Europe now. and because they're going to places they never were before, like Bucharest or Sofia etc. think of this: when they finish this, they're also going to tour the US with more tour dates, and i fuckin' betcha they're going to have a Cleveland or Columbus day.

@TJ damn that sucks man! better find another tourdate or something, i think there's not many years before they retire. i mean, look at the Rising in the East DVD, Halford doesn't do a single scream in Diamonds and Rust, there's gotta be something wrong, though i also lmao at the ending of Exciter with that awesome crescendo he does and screaming at the poor cameraman

BTW @ anyone what's in the background in Love Bites in this part:
You knew at first sight(Loooove Biites)
You'd enjoy my attack
That with my first bite(??? )
There'd be no turning back
So come in my arms I strike any hour
I will return to trap and devour
In the dead of the night love bites

i heard it's simply the chorus reversed...?

It's the normal lyrics.
I like this song, there's something vicious with the rhythm and the lyrics.
But I don't know what it means when he says "bite". In the title too.

lol, you aren't really paying attention to the lyrics no? the song is about a vampire who's biting a girl who's in love with him, thus turning her into a vampire too.
