The same members behind Supuration are also behind S.U.P, I really thought they just changed bands but I checked some info before posting this thread and apparently they are two different bands... anyway.

Haven't listened to these guys for a long time, I have recently re-discovered them on youtube and spotify and thought this band might interest many of you, this one of those high caliber bands that somehow did not make as big as Gojira or other french bands. But Damn, these guys really deserve it.

People who like a small proggy twist into their death metal will appreciate Supuration and S.U.P.

Supuration - The Cube - Live - Proggy

S.U.P - Chronophobia - Live - Doomy

Like I shouted... am I the only person around who finds this band immensely boring?

Why am I not surprised by this rant of yours?

Anyway, while I still haven't heard the whole of their discigraphy, I do like them a lot. Cold, difficult to get into, but strangely fascinating...

Rant? I don't see a rant at all I see me stating I find it boring. That is not ranting.
The music is cold, true, but I don't find it diffiult to get into at all.

I am far from fiding The Cube boring, that's a very good release IMO.

Although I also understand how it can be "cold" from what both of you described... it plays to its advantage, sometimes the songs have a certain neutral feeling to them that I do enjoy a lot.

Well, cold as in 'de-humanized'. But I was more thinking about later releases, especially Chronophobia.
