Metalcore has become a frowned upon genre by many metalheads, which is something I can understand. It's definitely not for everyone, but the truth is (in my opinion, anyways), some of it really isn't that bad. There are metalcore albums which are fairly enjoyable listens. My second favourite album from them. Not as consistent The Powerless Rise (my favourite) but still an outstanding Metalcore album.
