Wino has been a force in the doom metal world since the early days of the sub-genre. He has been in numerous bands, both as a frontman and as a guest.

Which of these many projects would you say is your favorite, o fans of doom?

The answer for me is Spirit Caravan. Great bluesy guitar work and easily some of Wino's best vocal performances.

Plus the song The Departure is, to me, a perfect example of all that is doom metal.

Saint Vitus is a close second because, well, it IS Saint Vitus. Personally I prefer the Scott Reagers era though (Saint Vitus, Hallow's Victim, and the bands last album Die Healing.)

From list I cant choose anyone, all are good, but The Obsessed somehow I like lil better, but all I say all are good , lyricaly I like more Place of Skulls
I can talk much about Shrinebuilder(gonna listen it now in myspace) same whit Lost Bread, (I doubt I ever will hear Shine and Victor Griffin)
But I also like when he was gust in Probot, realy his bands n muisc is unique, time changes Wino no doom stands still

I know what you mean. I don't like to think of a doom metal world with a Wino shaped hole in it.

Jesus, this is the hardest question ever. I am a huge Wino fan. Got to meet the man and take a pic with him last February 7th when Saint Vitus with Wino on vocals were over in Rotterdoom for a gig.
As for Vitus I am TOTALLY split between Reagers and Wino fronting that one.

I'll get back to you tomorrow for a definitive answer to this question to end all questions.

Easy for me - Saint Vitus, mainly because of Mournful Cries. I thought about voting for The Obsessed for a minute, but in the end, Saint Vitus beat them out. Spirit Caravan isn't that great

Hey, I understand. It is a difficult question.

I changed my own mind several times before posting the topic.

I'll come back to this. Recently I've been getting into a lot of Wino's stuff. Next pay cheque I'm probably going to pick up Shrinebuilder & his solo album, as well as some Saint Vitus if I can find it.

The Obsessed should be his no.1 band, also Saint Vitus, but he was not there since 1991...

Wino is part of both Saint Vitus and The Obsessed currently. And vocalist of Saint Vitus again since the reunion in 2009. And vocalist of The Obsessed since their reunion in 2011/2012. So what do you mean?

Ups, my mistake... Anyway, I voted for The Obsessed, because their albums like "Lunar Womb" and "The Church Within" were more time on my playlist than Saint Vitus's ones. Wino is superb musician still kicking and making great rock music!

I saw them live in 1994 and it was superb! Only around 30 persons attended their show... Pure stoner doom show like it should be...

When Saint Vitus played Rotterdam in February 2010 only 60-70 people were there, so... Yeah totally baffling the low amount of people attending.

Nope, also in the Netherlands and many more. When it's doom festivals do they draw more people, because then they come from all over Europe. But even Dutch Doom Days with its 400 tickets has never even sold out even though there was an edition with both Revelation and Place Of Skulls playing

Hm, so there must be a huge enthusiasm in organization of those shows, I don't know how they manage through it...
Another subject,... probably you'll know this?! Was Guy Pinhas playing in a Dutch band called Beaver? I saw them live back in 90's in Slovenia and also been at their practice in Amsterdam, but the memory is kind of blurry

I think he filled in live a couple of times, but am not too sure.
