!T.O.O.H! impressed us all with their second full length called "Pod Vladou Bice ", a great release which caught the good attention of both fans and music critics all over the globe. Now these Czech guys deliver us "Order And Punishment" via Earache/Elitist Records, a huge comeback for "Pod Vladou Bice" and a juicy piece for every single fanatic out there.

Thought I'd give this another shot to see if I just didn't understand the album the last time I heard it. I'd be lying if I said i didn't thoroughly enjoy this time around (that outro is quite captivating, something I didn't pick up on the first time i heard this, which was ~1000 album votes ago), however I still can't completely work out what makes this 'one of the best albums ever' in the eyes of many.

Unique sound, awesome bass, technical as fuck but catchy as sin, weird vocals. Dunno, it's just a perfect album to me =3

Yeah cool album. I seem to like it better now than before, I guess it'll go on growing on me. I think my first rating was a 5.

I will post this in every thread concerning the band until I get an answer. How the hell do you pronounce their name? I keep seeing and hearing Homer going "D'oh!". And since it's alphabetically one of the first bands to appear on every list, and they are largely discussed on this site, I keep seeing Homer saying "D'oh!" everywhere. Please help me. I'm losing my mind.

Since it's an acronym, you'd better pronounce the letter separatedly, I guess

Effort....

True. =P
But if you're gonna shorten it for convenience reasons, then I guess anything you come up with is ok, there's no right or wrong
I pronounce it as "too", but with the "t" sounding as in "tower" instead of as in "twelve".

Of course it does, when you read something in your head you have to be able to pronounce it. I even repeat the names out loud sometimes, just to help me pronounce them and remember them. I might not talk about music much IRL, but I'd be ready if the opportunity comes .

I think you can pronounce the acronym however you want. In my head they're called "too" but in real life I would never say to someone "Do you like too?" as that may get me slapped, or maybe even laid. I don't know.

The Obliteration of Humanity to tangible humans I would recommend. Both literally and figuratively.

I highly doubt that even the band member intended to pronounce the name of their band
I personally have not problem with calling them "tooh", which is quiet fun and captures their craziness better than "too". But anyway, I don't think that I will ever pronounce it loudly, as in real life no one around knows them.

duno. Maybe just that 'too" is an ordinary , but "tooh" is not a real word as far as I know.
I cant imagine this band being called too

That could made a classic rom-com scene. U2 playing on the radio. Guy : I like U2. Girl : I like you too. Quick let me phone a producer. I'm going to be a millionaire.
Oh, so that's what it stands for? Ok. Thanks. It's going to be "too" for me.

I would have trouble making the two words sound different when I verbalise them though. Unless I breathed really hard at the end to accentuate the "h" sound, but that would probably sound pretty creepy.

Good old written and verbal language. What a clumsy form of communication it is.

The funny thing is that in my head I pronounce my username "jew."

Hell this is one of rare occasions that having British accent might be bad. You cant even pronounce the "true" name of your favorite band properly.

Then it'd sound exactly like Homer, that's what I'm trying to avoid.

Well I had a jewish friend called Joseph and calling him Jewseph was pretty comical. It caught on with the school year and now he's the eternal Jewseph tehe

Yeah I have a couple of people who call me Jewseph, or Jewsipher, for some reason. Thankfully hasn't caught on too much.

I think that's a pretty unfortunate name to have if you're Jewish. It might be only me, but the only thing I'd be able to think about when meeting such a person would be Joseph Goebbels and a string of horrible holocaust jokes that I know by heart.

Evidence seems to suggest that this was released at the end of 2005.

Still as fun and perfect as it was back then.
