A while ago I posted a review with a cover so controversial and sickening that we almost censored it. Now the creators of "Depósitos De Semen" are back with a new full length, a new concept (less pornographic) and a different (more professional) type of music that is very satisfying to say the least. Semen is a revolting band as you already know; this album just shows a practiced group with the same kind of lyrical content (pedophile, anuses, cum, etc.) but with a whole new twist which makes this band a little more audible and "collective" id you know what I mean.

Semen improved their ideas and now they began writing about different subjects with different styles; don't get me wrong, the whole core of the band is still Porngrind, but giving a closer look to what these Mexicans achieved you'll see that the best tracks of this album are the ones that have fresher and more original structures; for example the speedy "Intoxicación", the powerful "Rotting Corpses In The Dark Room" and even the slow-paced track called "Vomiting Vaginal Blood By Uterine Cannibalism" (amazing song indeed), all those songs add a better feeling when it comes to songwriting, execution and musicianship.

The general problem of this album is that the band decided to grab the songs of their debut ("Depósitos De Semen") and paste them in "An Intense Experience?" with a different guitar distortion; I was expecting to hear a new full length with nothing but new songs. But the truth is, "Depósitos De Semen" was never a well known album for the Grindcore masses, so not many people know those tracks already, besides the fact that the aforementioned songs are really good overall.

This time we have a band with more digestible music; they kept their sickening and violent scheme of course, you'll still be drowned in one of the sickest bands in the whole world, they'll still blow your brains out with their noisy sound and you'll be begging for it to stop; in the end the music just sounds tighter and really polished this time, I hope this band keeps evolving because if they do they will soon be releasing a total masterpiece.
