My main question is actually if any of you know a good web-retailer to buy "underground" black metal and stuff from, since I have a rather hard time finding one.

well, lets not get sad about that... lets talk about something else... like... which is the next concert ur gonna see? im gonna see the unholy alliance tour thing in stockholm its gonna be awesome. and i think the haunted is playing sometime close to unholy alliance too... i'll most probably go see them too.

where in sweden do u guys live? i live in stockholm. im kinda lucky i do, coz most of the bands comes to stockholm when they're on tour

Skåne ist krieg... I have to attend to most of my gigs in Kopenhagen (2.5 hours away) because there are bascily no performances down here. Some in malmö but generally very few in southern sweden. Sad

Aaaahhhh ... it's nice to live in the capital town. The place where I usually attend gigs are like 20 minutes away from me and Globen and Hovet maybe 25 minutes. Really nice!

@Warman: i live on södermalm. a perfect mix between picturesque and big city hehe. and where do you live?

@Achor: Not really in Stockholm actually (I say Stockholm because it's easier for "outsiders" to understand), I live in Tullinge. I'm sure you know where that is. And for those who don't, Tullinge is a suburban like 20 minutes from Stockholm.

@Warman: pff hehe, thats stockholm to me since its linked to stockholm with the pendeltåg, its stockholm hehe

me too. i've seen them once before at gates of metal 2005. they rocked. but it annoys me that they almost never play in sweden... and they ditched sweden in december cos of their tour in usa. those fuckers... but i really look forward to february 4th!

it seems to me like alot of 80s-esque glam rock bands are coming out of Sweden, like Vains Of Jenna or Hardcore Superstar. I just wanted to enquire as to whether glam rock is actually big over there or is it just a coincidence? Because im big into 80s style glam/sleaze rock and theres very few bands like that these days (Besides Kid Ego,VoJ and HS), and it would be cool to find more.

Actually, I don't really know. But IMO I wouldn't say that Glam Rock bands are especially big here. Or am I wrong you other swedish metalstormers?

Glam rock is small in sweden, I would say it is a coincidense thoose groups pop up in sweden. Glam Rockers are almost extinct here, only time you actually encounter them are at Sweden rock, or random glam rock concert.

Actually im pretty certain you guys are overlooking something here, cus im finding more and more 80s style rock n roll bands (both glam & sleaze rock) coming out of sweden, 3 more additions to that list are Babylon Bombs, Baby Jane and Innocent Rosie, both pretty cool bands.

I cant be the only one whos getting into this 80s rock revival?
